Terrific Stuff Tuesday

Stuff to read and buy and listen to this Easter week.

LISTEN

I am not a Family Guy fan. I still haven't watched Ted and I barely liked A Million Ways to Die in the West. My undying love and admiration for Seth MacFarlane is due to one thing, and one thing only: his voice.

If that doesn't make you want to drop your panties and throw them on stage I just don't know about you. If you enjoy big band Rat Pack type music do yourself a favor and download his albums, Music is Better than Words and No One Ever Tells You. They're gorgeous and fun.

BUY (WHILE YOU STILL CAN)

(Forgive the weird lighting in the pic, we have two different light bulbs since one just burnt out and it's doing weird things. That dress on the left is white!) You guys, the Victoria Beckham collection for Target. Now look, I know I work for Target, and NO this is not sponsored or a plug or anything like that - but seriously go have a look at this collection before it's sold out. It's bright and happy, and perfect for Easter. I could take or leave her as a Spice Girl, but she has become one of my very favorite designers and I am thrilled that she collaborated with Target and I was able to get my hands on a few pieces! Now if only they could work something out with Naeem Khan, because who needs money or food when you have beautiful dresses? (Kidding.) (Sort of.)

READ

Do you like celebrity gossip? Do you like pretty clothes? Do you like trying to figure out what went through a celebrity's head when they put on whatever batshit getup their stylist talked them into? You will find all of those things on GoFugYourself.com. Heather and Jessica have built an awesome community of people who cheer at the wins and collectively scratch their heads at the missteps. While it is at it's core a platform to judge sartorial choices, it is NOT a place to judge the people themselves, or bully them, or make fun of them in a mean way. It's pure fashion criticism, mixed with so-bad-it's-good TV show recaps, royals and their various shenanigans, and giveaways. I've stopped reading a lot of gossip sites (looking at you, Celebitchy) because it's just gotten mean-spirited in this new age, but the Fug Girls keep it professional, well thought out, and respectful. Plus they're super funny and we all need to laugh some days!
