My hair has run the gamut of natural colors, from brown to red to black to blonde (and boy THAT was a process but that's a story for another time) and so on and so forth. I've cut it super short, had it as long as it will possibly go (which is only about the middle of my back, it's just too weak to grow longer), and all lengths in between.
I usually get my hair done for my birthday in the fall, but this past year I decided not to, and it is now in desperate need of a cut and color! SO this is where you come in! What should I do with it?? I have baby fine hair that has a wave to it if it's cut right - essentially a shag cut - which I prefer, so no blunt cuts. Should I go as short as the top left, like I did last summer? Mark hated it just because he prefers long hair, so I doubt I could go as short as I did in high school (bottom middle). I'm kind of liking the lob my hair has grown into, it just needs a trim up. I love my red hair, it's just so hard to maintain as it fades quicker than other colors. I also LOVE black hair on me, but it's a pain in the ass to get out if I want to do something different - which I do, frequently. I haven't done any bright unnatural colors - I have a dream of having multi-tonal purple hair - but is it worth the bleach job? Lastly, where would you go? I used to go to Mes Amis on Grand Ave, but have since switched to Tease Salon on East 7th. I prefer the St Paul side but any recommendations are welcome!
